2T Financial Tracker

Personal finance · Android · iOS soon

A private money tracker for everything you own and owe. Add your bank balances, assets, savings pots and the shares you hold, and the home screen totals your whole net worth in one place — no bank is ever connected and nothing leaves your phone.

It goes further than a balance. It tells you what you have left to spend this month, flags the new expense that quietly ate your budget, breaks a shopping trip down to the item, and reminds you before a bill or a transfer is due. There is a tax estimator that adjusts to your country, and a login that is yours alone.

  • ✓ Bank accounts, assets, savings pots and shares in one net-worth total
  • ✓ "Left to spend this month," with the expense that moved it most
  • ✓ Tag each expense with its source — Cash, M-Pesa or bank
  • ✓ Month-by-month history, and statements you can save as PDF
  • ✓ Itemised shopping breakdowns and spending insights
  • ✓ Bill & transfer reminders — daily, weekly or monthly, with alerts
  • ✓ Any currency — Kenyan Shillings, Dollars, Pounds and more
  • ✓ Country-aware tax estimator
  • ✓ Fingerprint / face unlock, with email verification and password reset

Installing on Android

Because this comes straight from here and not from Google Play, your phone will ask once for permission. This is normal for direct installs.

  1. Download the APK

Tap Download above. Your phone saves the file and may warn that this type of file can harm your device — that warning shows for every APK, tap Download anyway / OK.

  2. Open it and allow this one source

Open the downloaded file. If Android says installs from this source aren't allowed, tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, then go back.

  3. Install

Tap Install, then Open. Create an account with your email, or if you've used it before, sign in — or tap Forgot password? to reset it.

  4. Updating later

New versions are posted here. Installing a newer one over the top keeps all your data — the app even tells you when an update is ready.

Your money data lives on your phone and your own Google backup. Signing in uses your email only to verify it's really you — 2T never contacts a bank, and never sees your balances.

More apps are on the way here. If there's something you'd want built, get in touch.
